Registration is a mandatory requirement to BUY-SELL-AUCTION and REQUEST products on Surpluselectrical.com and Surpluselectrical.ca

Buyers do not need to be pre-registered with a Stripe account to purchase. Sellers must register with Stripe to get their payments. If they do not they come to the site and there will be a 20% admin fee to send the funds to the Vendor. Stripe is fast and easy to set up, the process takes no time at all and is simply the best payment portal on the market. Payments are split by Stripe at the time they receive the funds from the buyer with Surpluselectrical.com and Surpluselectrical.ca receiving our small commission at the same time you receive your payment. Remember Surpluselectrical.com and Surpluselectrical.ca actually pays the transaction or CC fees out of our commission. You receive a statement of all deposits showing the commission and if applicable shipping fees deducted from you deposits.

It is also important to use an email address you use frequently to ensure you are getting notifications for sales etc. That email address is also what links directly to STRIPE to receive payments. If you have an existing Stripe account using the existing email that is linked to Stripe for our site will make it simpler to connect. You must still go through the link on our site to ensure connection.

Pay close attention to Do you want to become a Seller/Vendor. The default is YES, if you ever want to be able to sell or request products on the site you must check YES.

Registration as a Vendor requires additional information. The application requires approval from the Administration before you will be able to sell on Surpluselectrical.com and Surpluselectrical.ca.

Vendors will also need to ensure they are set up to receive payments via Stripe before listing products.

Vendors please note the Shop URL or name cannot be an offsite website address, your application will not be approved. The name registered here will appear on all adds and correspondence on Surpluselectrical.com and Surpluselectrical.ca

It is recommended vendors complete the additional information requested for faster approval.
